Ricoh XF-30: The First Roll

I got this camera from Oxfam the other day (see full post here) and put a roll of expired Kodak film in just to test it out.

At first, the camera had some issues understanding that it was a camera. It didn’t seem to know that it was meant to be rolling on the film by itself.  I got 19 shots from a roll of 24.

I really love the look of the expired film.  I got it for free so have no idea of its history (where it was stored etc), but it is about 5 years past its expiry.

The Ricoh XF-30 has a built-in flash

I accidentally set the self-timer off at the station. But yay! It works.

Colleen hates the flash on this camera.
